Texas Holdem Poker

Holdem is the most recognized poker variant offered at all gambling rooms. This poker variation is played using the common 52 cards deck with up to 10 players. The game session consists of four betting rounds the first of which starts after the blinds are placed. The first player next to the dealer’s button makes the small blind and the second gambler - the big blind bet. As a rule the big blind size is equal to the lowest betting amount set by poker rule while the small blind amount is the half of the big blind amount. The gamblers get two hidden cards which is followed by round of betting. Five community cards are placed on the board, at first three of them (flop) appear and then the rest two cards one after another (called the turn and river) followed by betting round each. During betting the gamblers may choose the options to call, raise, fold, check or bet which depends on their desire and the other players’ actions. As the poker rule dictates every round is completed if all active gamblers wagered the equal amount into the pot. Finally in the showdown the cards are revealed and the hands are evaluated. The poker player can use any number of two hole cards and the community cards to form the poker hand. The player who holds the strongest hand wins the pot. According to the general poker rule when hands tie the pot is divided.

Omaha Poker

This is among the most widespread poker games due to its similarity with the Texas Hold'em poker. The poker rule of Omaha poker is very easy and it in fact is different from the Holdem poker rule just by some points. The most important difference is that in Omaha poker the poker players after the blinds posting get four pocket cards each. After that five face-up community cards appear on the board followed by the round of betting each. In the showdown the players shows their cards. Unlike Hold’em in Omaha poker the gambler has to use two of their hole cards together with only three of the community cards to create the poker hands. This is one more difference of Omaha poker rule. In Omaha like in Holdem the standard hand ranks are applied.
